Frequently Asked Questions
As your partner in oral health, we know education is as much a part of our duty as is providing excellent services. There are a few common questions that arise for most patients. To help spread more knowledge about dental care, we have collected them here in an FAQs.
What if it’s been awhile since my last dental visit?
Even if it’s been years since the last time you had your teeth checked out, that’s no reason to continue to delay care. We will never make you feel guilty or bad for letting it slide. The important thing is that you’re taking care of it now!
Do you see children?
Sure! We’re happy to welcome families of all shapes and sizes here at Water’s Edge Dental. Our team is experienced in the gentle art of caring for little teeth, and we can rely on our available general and restorative services in order to ensure that they enjoy excellent oral health for years to come as their smiles change and grow.
I have crooked teeth that I want to fix, but I don’t want to have to wear metal braces. Are there any other options?
Invisalign could be the perfect answer for your smile woes. This cosmetic treatment option can straighten your smile and erase gaps and misalignments with the help of clear, comfortable plastic aligners that are virtually unnoticeable. Plus, they work faster than traditional braces in most cases!
What choices do I have for tooth replacement at your office?
We offer several treatment options so that our patients can be sure to select the one that best fits their needs. We can restore dental implants here at our Port Orange, FL office; we tend to recommend implants above all else due to their valuable health benefits, their durable nature, and their beautiful, lifelike appearance. Some people, however, prefer the more traditional options of dentures or dental bridges due to their reliability and affordability. Dr. Bannan will be happy to sit down with you and discuss all of these options in more detail, if needed.
Is Cosmetic Dentistry Expensive?
The cost of cosmetic procedures will depend on a few factors, the most important being which procedure you are having performed. We accept CareCredit and offer an in-house payment plan to help. Whatever the cost, patients agree it’s worth it for a beautiful, confident smile.
What are my payment options?
We offer several methods when it comes to paying for your dental care, including most major insurance, low-cost payment plans, and much more. Take a look at our New Patient Page to learn more. We strive to make your dental care process as smooth and simple as possible, even after your treatment is finished.
